NHL Update

I've been off my NHL game this week.  Actually, correction, I've been on my game but off the blog.  Unfortunately my day job has kept me in the office past the 7pm games, and what good is a post if you don't put your money where your mouth is?

Last night I would have nailed the Penguins, Blackhawks, Ducks and Stars, and would have lost on the Kings.  4 of 5 ain't bad.  Tonight I liked the Caps @ home (one of the biggest home ice advantages in the US believe it or not), the Wings, Senators and Blackhawks.  I was torn on the Avs/Canadians but probably would err on the home team.  Tonight's tilt I'll take the BLUES getting even money.

I can't promise I'll get back home tomorrow either, but here are my preliminary Friday picks without knowing the lines yet:

--NJD at home over Atlanta

--SABRES at home over the Islandars

--FLYERS on the road against Panthers

--BRUINS on the road against the Stars

--OILERS at home against the Wild

--CALGARY at home against Vancouver
